La croix borde un chemin qui était nommé, au 18e siècle, chemin de la Procession des Rogations. La croix devait donc être visitée chaque année, à l'occasion de ces fêtes. Elle est en fer forgé, reposant sur un socle en grès. La colonnette octogonale est surmontée d'un chapiteau cubique aux angles inférieurs abattus. La croix en fer devait être identique à celle de la Place d'Alairac, mais elle est très mutilée. Elle est formée de quatre fers carrés, cintrés en quart-de-cercle et tangents extérieurement. Dans l'évidement central se trouve un quatre-feuilles lancéolé en fer plat. Les arcs de cercle sont doublés extérieurement par un fer plat redenté. Les extrémités des bras étaient ornées de feuillages qui ont en partie disparu. A la base, ils se sont conservés et forment deux groupes de quatre feuilles. Les unes sont repliées vers l'extrémité, comme des pétales floraux entrouverts ; les autres vers la tige comme des sépales. History
The cross borders a path which was named, in the 18th century, the Rogation Procession path. The cross was therefore to be visited each year, on the occasion of these festivals. It is in wrought iron, resting on a sandstone base. The octagonal colonette is surmounted by a cubic capital with its lower angles chamfered. The iron cross should have been identical to that of the Place d'Alairac, but it is very mutilated. It is formed of four square irons, bent in a quarter-circle and tangent externally. In the central void is found a lancet-shaped four-lobed design in flat iron. The arcs of the circle are doubled externally by a flat iron with notched edge. The ends of the arms were ornamented with foliage which has partly disappeared. At the base, they have been preserved and form two groups of four leaves. Some are folded back towards the end, like half-open flower petals; the others towards the stem like sepals. The other ends must have been similar but terminated at the tip by fleurons of which the upper one, curved like hooks, remains almost intact alone. The cross contains only pieces assembled hot, without rivets, screws or pins.
