History
The history and construction of this castle may date back to the 14th or 15th century. The castle comprises a fortified entrance with a granite bridge dated 1761 and heavy medieval corner towers. To the east and west, the two wings of outbuildings from the 17th or 18th century (stables built in 1850) and, at the back, the castle rebuilt in 1835, replacing a 17th-century building which was burned in 1793. The staircase ramp dates from this period.
