Erigée au pied d'une source non loin de la chapelle Saint-Ouen, la chapelle des Rosiers appartenait à l'abbaye Saint-Florent de Saumur. Elle rassemblait les habitants de Saint-Clémentin le soir de Pâques. L'édifice présente un plan rectangulaire orienté, précédé à l'ouest d'un auvent fermé par un muret. Un campanile surmonte la façade percée d'une porte en plein cintre avec des vantaux décorés et cloutés. La nef unique est voûtée d'un berceau brisé. Le choeur, plus élevé que la nef, est voûté sur croisées d'ogives. A l'entrée du choeur se voient deux culots sculptés qui devaient recevoir un autre type de voûtement pour la nef.

History
Erected at the foot of a spring not far from the chapel of Saint-Ouen, the chapel of the Rosiers belonged to the abbey of Saint-Florent of Saumur. It gathered the inhabitants of Saint-Clémentin on Easter evening. The building has an oriented rectangular plan, preceded to the west by an open shed closed by a low wall. A bell turret crowns the façade pierced with a round arch door with decorated and nailed panels. The single nave is vaulted with a broken barrel vault. The choir, higher than the nave, is vaulted on rib vaults. At the entrance to the choir are seen two sculptured corbels which were to receive another type of vaulting for the nave.
