Historique
La Favrière est mentionnée dès 1315. Inclue dans des bâtiments de ferme, la Favrière est formée d'un logis rectangulaire avec une galerie formant retour d'équerre, le tout compris dans une enceinte fortifiée. Une tour carrée dépassant l'ensemble se trouve à leur point de jonction et abrite un escalier monumental à mur noyau. La galerie s'élève sur deux niveaux, une galerie ouverte et l'autre fermée, et est constituée d'arcatures inscrites dans des travées doriques. Datant de la fin du 16e siècle, elle s'ouvre à ses deux extrémités par des portes classiques. Une troisième porte de même style se trouve sur la tour carrée, ainsi qu'une tourelle en surplomb construite en brique. History
La Favrière is mentioned from 1315 onwards. Included within farm buildings, La Favrière is formed of a rectangular main dwelling with a gallery forming a return at right angles, all contained within a fortified enclosure. A square tower projecting above the whole is found at their point of junction and houses a monumental staircase with a central core. The gallery rises over two levels, one open gallery and the other closed, and is composed of arcatures inscribed within Doric bays. Dating from the late 16th century, it opens at both ends by classical doors. A third door of the same style is found on the square tower, as well as a projecting turret constructed in brick. The main dwelling preserves a group of granite fireplaces dating from the 15th century. Such a well-preserved example of a Renaissance gallery is very rare in the department.
