History
The parish was part, before the Revolution, of the diocese of Clermont. The patronage belonged to the abbey of Chambon. In the Romanesque period and the 13th century, the building was composed of a nave covered with a barrel vault with a thick west wall. In the 16th and 17th centuries, lateral chapels formed a sort of transept with two small sacristies. The west façade is surmounted by a gable bell tower pierced with two round arch openings. Sculpted capitals.
