Historique
L'église se compose d'une nef unique terminée par un chevet plat, coupée par un transept, le tout couvert par une charpente lambrissée. Les entraits octogonaux montrent à leurs assemblages avec les sablières et les poinçons des renforts en forme de gueules d'animaux fantastiques ou de figures humaines. Le clocher de charpente a été installé sur la deuxième travée de la nef. Ses quatre poteaux d'angle inclinés reposent sur les extrémités d'entraits des fermes courantes, ces entraits étant soulagés sous cet assemblage par des corbeaux de pierre portés par des pilastres engagés dans les murs de la nef. Le clocher se compose d'un campanile sur plan carré à la base, terminé par une flèche octogonale élancée. Les parois de la nef, du transept et du choeur sont ornés de trente écussons en bas-relief sur plaques rectangulaires. Une peinture murale a été découverte sous l'enduit à faux joints.

History
The church is composed of a single nave terminated by a flat chevet, cut by a transept, all covered by a coffered roof structure. The octagonal tie beams show at their assemblies with the wall plates and the collar ties reinforcements in the form of mouths of fantastic animals or human figures. The timber bell tower was installed on the second bay of the nave. Its four inclined corner posts rest on the ends of tie beams of the common trusses, these tie beams being relieved under this assembly by stone corbels borne by pilasters engaged in the walls of the nave. The bell tower consists of a campanile on a square plan at the base, terminated by a slender octagonal spire. The walls of the nave, transept and choir are ornated with thirty escutcheons in bas-relief on rectangular plaques. A mural painting was discovered under the render with false joints.
