Vaste construction du 15e siècle, entièrement en charpente, présentant trois nefs inégales de quatre travées chacune, sous un seul grand comble. Elles comprenaient primitivement deux travées de plus, la dernière travée du comble portée sur les murs de pierre formant un local accolé à un bâtiment ayant été détruite. Les quatre travées sont constituées par cinq fermes portées sur de forts poteaux de bois isolés du sol sur dés de pierre. Charpente à chevrons sur pannes. Les vieilles halles en bois étaient autrefois assez nombreuses en Touraine, mais ont eu tendance à disparaître avec l'apparition du chemin de fer qui a facilité les échanges.

History
Vast construction of the 15th century, entirely in timber framing, presenting three unequal naves of four bays each, under a single great roof space. They originally comprised two bays more, the last bay of the roof space borne on the stone walls forming a room adjoining a building having been destroyed. The four bays are constituted by five roof trusses borne on stout wooden posts isolated from the ground on stone plinths. Roof structure with rafters on purlins. The old wooden halls were formerly quite numerous in Touraine, but have tended to disappear with the appearance of the railway which facilitated exchanges.
