Originally there existed a Roman villa. In the 14th century, the fief was dependent on the archbishopric of Tours and the châtellenie of Boussay. In the 19th century, the manor was divided up. A plan of 1756 shows it in its unity, with well, fountain and dovecot. It is formed of two main dwellings joined together. The façade along the communal road was remade in the 20th century. A Saint-Gilles spiral staircase leads to the first floor where there is a large fireplace whose hood is decorated with a fresco representing the landing of Sainte-Marthe in Provence. Another fireplace on the ground floor also bears on its hood an inscription of the 16th century. Dependent on this manor is a chapel carved into the rock. Its façade is pierced by a door and two coupled openings whose jambs are decorated with motifs of the 16th century.
