History
Built in 1806, this stallion depot has undergone no modification since that time. An installation for water supply and automatic troughs was executed at the end of the 19th century. It is one of the rare groups of construction built from the outset for the purpose of serving as a stallion depot. They contain architectural elements very innovative for the early 19th century. The composition is organised on two axes: one facing the entrance, on the main stable; the other on the production complex. Each building presents particularities linked to its function. In the main stables, the flattened and panelled vault is maintained by a system of cast-iron tie-rods.
