L'ancien presbytère était, au 13e siècle, la maison de l'archiprêtre. Il était flanqué au nord par le château des évêques de Cahors, et au sud par l'église Sainte-Catherine ou Petite Eglise. L'édifice s'articule sur une aile bâtie sur le flanc. Cette partie abritait l'ancienne église Sainte-Catherine et les anciennes prisons. A l'angle des deux, se trouve le passage appelé "Arboou" (voûte) qui constituait l'ancienne entrée de la citadelle.

History
The former presbytery was, in the 13th century, the house of the archpriest. It was flanked to the north by the castle of the bishops of Cahors, and to the south by the church of Sainte-Catherine or Petite Eglise. The building is articulated on a wing built on the side. This part housed the former church of Sainte-Catherine and the former prisons. At the angle of the two, there is found the passage called "Arboou" (vault) which constituted the former entrance to the citadel.
