L'église d'Aubin fut donnée en 1087 aux moines Augustins de Montsalvi, et ne servit au début qu'aux religieux. En 1102, la paroisse de la Cène fut réunie à l'église, et c'est probablement au début du 12e siècle que fut bâtie l'église romane en partie conservée. En 1486, le prieuré et une partie importante de l'église furent reconstruits. Primitivement, la toiture de la nef était distincte de celle des bas-côtés. La sculpture des chapiteaux est assez fruste ; l'un d'eux représente la tentation d'Adam et Eve. Une chapelle funéraire avec des restes importants d'enfeu, s'élève à l'angle sud-ouest. Ce monument était enrichi de statues dont il ne subsiste qu'une partie.

History
The church of Aubin was given in 1087 to the Augustinian monks of Montsalvi, and at first served only the religious. In 1102, the parish of La Cène was united to the church, and it was probably in the early 12th century that the Romanesque church, partly preserved, was built. In 1486, the priory and a substantial part of the church were rebuilt. Originally, the roof of the nave was distinct from that of the aisles. The sculpture of the capitals is rather crude; one of them depicts the temptation of Adam and Eve. A funerary chapel with substantial remains of wall tombs rises at the south-west corner. This monument was enriched with statues, of which only part remains.
