Ce petit moulin à farine, construit en 1772 par un marchand d'Arpajon, était pourvu de deux paires de meules, complété par un foulon en 1788 ; il ne présente pas d'éléments extérieurs significatifs de son activité primitive. A la fin du 19e siècle, le moulin périclite, le bief disparaît ; il est transformé en maison d'habitation. De plan rectangulaire, construit en lave et couvert de lauzes, avec sa toiture incurvée par le traditionnel coyau, il est caractéristique des volumes de l'habitat rural cantalien ; il comporte une cave et deux pièces superposées.

History
This small flour mill, built in 1772 by a merchant of Arpajon, was furnished with two pairs of millstones, completed by a fulling mill in 1788; it presents no significant external elements of its original activity. At the end of the 19th century, the mill falls into decline, the mill-race disappears; it is converted into a dwelling house. Of rectangular plan, built in lava stone and covered with stone slates, with its roof curved by the traditional curving rafter, it is characteristic of the volumes of rural Cantalian housing; it comprises a basement and two rooms stacked above it.
