History
The building, work of the architect Lassus, was erected in 1844 and rebuilt from 1850 to 1869. This church is conceived in the neo-Gothic spirit, synthesizing the principal cathedrals to compose the ideal cathedral. The plan of the 13th and 14th centuries comprises a nave of three bays and aisles, a choir with ambulatory and radiating chapels as well as a non-projecting transept. The interior presents a triforium at three levels, a neo-Gothic pulpit and chapels ornamented.
