Historique
Edifice, construit en 1898, constituant un exemple remarquable de Modern Style. Décor fin de siècle, précurseur des créations du style 1900, composé de glaces, stucs, ferronneries, luminaires, peintures et verrières. Salle rectangulaire divisée en deux par une poutre centrale portée par deux corbeaux. Deux niveaux d'élévation dans le fond de la salle, avec un balcon en fer forgé réservé à l'orchestre. Pour éclairer cette partie de la salle, le plafond est percé d'une véranda de type vitrail. Dans la première partie de la salle, une peinture occupe un espace comparable à celui de la véranda. Le plafond semble soutenu par des pilastres de stuc émergeant de motifs de végétation symétrique. Ces pilastres sont couronnés de motifs ioniques et d'un abaque d'où partent de fausses voûtes d'arêtes. History
Building, constructed in 1898, constituting a remarkable example of Modern Style. End of century decoration, precursor of the creations of 1900s style, composed of mirrors, stucco, ironwork, light fittings, paintings and stained glass. Rectangular hall divided in two by a central beam supported by two corbels. Two levels of elevation at the back of the hall, with a wrought-iron balcony reserved for the orchestra. To light this part of the hall, the ceiling is pierced with a veranda of stained-glass type. In the first part of the hall, a painting occupies a space comparable to that of the veranda. The ceiling appears to be supported by stucco pilasters emerging from motifs of symmetric vegetation. These pilasters are crowned with Ionic motifs and an abacus from which spring false barrel vaults. Between each pilaster bearing at mid-height bunches of lamps and the springing of the vaults, there are mirrors at two levels separated by garlands or foliage.
