Historique
L'enseigne datée de 1588 et gravée du nom de Jehan Moran, au 6 de la rue du Rivage, témoigne de l'industrie de la batellerie, prospère jusqu'au 19e siècle. Cette enseigne de marinier consiste en une pierre rectangulaire, sculptée en bas-relief d'un cartouche dont les cuirs découpés ordonnent symétriquement leurs enroulements autour d'un médaillon central bombé. Ce cartouche est agrafé par un masque léonin. Il est agrafé dans le haut par une tête de femme aux cheveux relevés sous une coiffe en usage à partir du règne de François II. History
The sign dated 1588 and engraved with the name of Jehan Moran, at 6 rue du Rivage, bears witness to the barge industry, which prospered until the 19th century. This boatman's sign consists of a rectangular stone, carved in bas-relief with a cartouche whose cut leathers order symmetrically their scrolls around a central bulged medallion.
