L'établissement a été édifié en 1826 à l'emplacement de thermes gallo-romains, la première pierre en ayant été posée par la fille de Charles X. Edifice d'inspiration antique, vaste ensemble rectangulaire avec quatre pavillons d'angle carrés. La partie centrale de la façade sud a été légèrement décalée pour faire place à un bassin bordé d'une grille, contenant les eaux thermales. Cette façade est précédée d'un péristyle, formé de huit piliers rectangulaires, aux chapiteaux ornés de quelques moulures sur lesquels retombent des arcs en plein cintre. A l'intérieur, la galerie sud présente de nombreux éléments lapidaires d'anciens thermes.

History
The establishment was built in 1826 on the site of Gallo-Roman thermal baths, the first stone having been laid by the daughter of Charles X. Edifice of antique inspiration, vast rectangular complex with four square corner pavilions. The central part of the south façade was slightly offset to make way for a basin edged with a grille, containing the thermal waters. This façade is preceded by a peristyle, formed of eight rectangular pillars, with capitals ornamented with a few mouldings on which rest round arches. Inside, the south gallery presents numerous stone elements from the old baths.
