Edifice présentant trois époques de construction : période romaine pour les murs nord-ouest et sud-ouest ; 11e siècle pour le chevet et les transepts ; 12e siècle pour les nefs. L'église comprend une nef voûtée en berceau et des bas-côtés voûtés de la même manière mais les berceaux disposés perpendiculairement à la nef. Une coupole octogonale sur trompes s'élève sur la croisée. L'abside et les absidioles sont voûtées en cul-de-four. Le clocher comporte un étage octogonal ajouré de baies jumelles sur les huit faces. Il est couronné par une haute couverture en charpente habillée d'ardoises qui a remplacé, après 1583, la couverture primitive abattue par un ouragan.

History
Building presenting three periods of construction: Roman period for the north-west and south-west walls; 11th century for the chevet and transepts; 12th century for the naves. The church comprises a nave vaulted in barrel vault and aisles vaulted in the same way but the barrels disposed perpendicularly to the nave. An octagonal dome on squinches rises over the crossing. The apse and the absidioles are vaulted in cul-de-four. The bell tower comprises an octagonal storey with openings of paired openings on the eight faces. It is crowned by a high roof structure covering dressed in slate which replaced, after 1583, the primitive covering blown down by a hurricane.
