Château construit vers la fin du 14e siècle, dépendant de l'abbaye de Saint-Denis avant d'être vendu à des particuliers en 1570. A cette époque, un incendie dû aux guerres de Religion détruit une partie du château qui fut alors réédifiée dans le style de l'époque. L'édifice est un quadrilatère partiellement flanqué de deux tours polygonales. La façade comprend une tour d'escalier. Vers 1850, restaurations, en particulier intérieures. Ne subsiste du 16e siècle que l'escalier à vis, le plafond du salon sud, et sans doute la cheminée monumentale de style gothique, hormis le foyer. Le salon et le hall d'entrée sont tapissés d'une toile de jute peinte par l'un des propriétaires au 19e siècle, et représentant des scènes bucoliques ou florales.

History
Castle built towards the end of the 14th century, dependent on the abbey of Saint-Denis before being sold to private individuals in 1570. At that time, a fire caused by the Wars of Religion destroyed part of the castle which was then rebuilt in the style of the period. The building is a quadrilateral partially flanked by two polygonal towers. The façade includes a stair tower. Around 1850, restorations, particularly interior ones. From the 16th century there survives only the spiral staircase, the ceiling of the south salon, and probably the monumental Gothic-style fireplace, except for the hearth. The salon and entrance hall are lined with painted burlap by one of the owners in the 19th century, depicting bucolic or floral scenes.
