Historique
Fondé au 12e siècle, le prieuré perd sa fonction vers 1632 et est transformé en ferme dès 1650. La chapelle devient grange. Le prieuré se compose d'un corps de logis fortifié flanqué de tourelles, d'une chapelle, de hangars agricoles, de pavillons et d'appentis. Le logis se compose d'un petit donjon quadrangulaire entouré de douves à l'origine et flanqué de quatre tours circulaires. Deux d'entre elles subsistent au nord, de part et d'autre de l'ancien pont-levis. Une salle unique occupait à l'origine chaque niveau. Au rez-de-chaussée subsiste une cheminée monumentale de pierre à manteau droit mouluré, reposant sur des piédroits ornés d'une colonnette en saillie. La chapelle se compose d'une nef unique avec une abside à trois pans. Chaque pan de l'abside était orné de peintures murales, le panneau de droite étant le seul encore visible. Il représente un Christ du début du 14e siècle, dans la tradition romane (bras écartés, pieds posés sur le globe terrestre, flanqué de deux anges).

History
Founded in the 12th century, the priory lost its function around 1632 and was transformed into a farm from 1650. The chapel became a barn. The priory is composed of a fortified main dwelling flanked by turrets, a chapel, agricultural outbuildings, pavilions and lean-tos. The dwelling is composed of a small quadrangular keep originally surrounded by moats and flanked by four circular towers. Two of them remain on the north, on either side of the former drawbridge. A single room occupied each level originally. At ground level a monumental stone fireplace remains with a straight moulded mantelpiece, resting on pillars decorated with a projecting small column. The chapel is composed of a single nave with an apse of three bays. Each bay of the apse was decorated with murals, the right panel being the only one still visible. It depicts a Christ of the early 14th century, in the Romanesque tradition (arms outstretched, feet set on the terrestrial globe, flanked by two angels).
