Historique
L'ancienne chapelle du château aujourd'hui disparu avait, avant 1793, le titre d'église paroissiale. En 1279, un testament stipule divers dons à l'église Saint-Denis, voulant aussi que sur un côté de cet édifice fut construite une petite chapelle avec un autel dédié à Sainte-Catherine, chapelle qui ne parait pas avoir été construite. La chapelle est aujourd'hui très délabrée. La porte d'entrée abritée sous un grand arc bandé entre deux contreforts, a été refaite vraisemblablement au 16e ou au 17e siècle. Le campanile qui s'élève sur la façade semble remonter à la même époque. Sur les restes intérieurs se remarquent des chapiteaux ornés de feuillages ou volutes. L'un d'eux présente des personnages aux bras levés. L'abside était semi-circulaire. Les chapiteaux, colonnes, bénitier et statue de bois polychrome du 15e siècle ont été pillés.

History
The former chapel of the castle now disappeared had, before 1793, the title of parish church. In 1279, a will stipulates various gifts to the church of Saint-Denis, also wishing that on one side of this building a small chapel be built with an altar dedicated to Sainte-Catherine, a chapel which does not appear to have been built. The chapel is today very dilapidated. The entrance door sheltered under a large arch drawn between two buttresses, has been remade presumably in the 16th or 17th century. The campanile which rises on the façade appears to date from the same period. On the internal remains are noticed capitals ornamented with foliage or scrolls. One of them presents figures with raised arms. The apse was semi-circular. The capitals, columns, holy water font and polychrome wooden statue of the 15th century have been pillaged.
