Site de fabrication de céramiques connu depuis l'époque gauloise et développé par les Romains dans les premiers siècles de notre ère (exportation des poteries dans tout l'empire romain). History
A site of ceramic manufacture known since Gallic times and developed by the Romans in the first centuries of our era (export of pottery throughout the Roman empire). The Bourgauds pottery was built around 1866 by the brothers Antoine and François Bompard. In 1920, the business took the name Manufacture of Stoneware and Pottery, former Bompard house. It ceased operations shortly after the Second World War. The industrial group is arranged around a closed courtyard; its main manufacturing workshop in brick and render houses two vertical cylindrical kilns with fireboxes, one for earthenware, the other for stoneware.
