Historique
Edifiée à l'époque romane, l'église a été agrandie plus tardivement par la construction de chapelles latérales. Les restes du prieuré se réduisent à quelques murs. Le desservant de ce prieuré était à la nomination de l'abbé d'Aurillac. L'église est à une seule nef de trois travées voûtées en berceau en arc brisé, et comprend un choeur voûté d'ogives. Par l'intermédiaire d'une porte à arc en accolade, le choeur communique avec une sacristie accolée au bâtiment. Les arcs doubleaux séparant les travées retombent sur des chapiteaux surmontant des piliers engagées, ornés de feuillages et de masques. History
Built in the Romanesque period, the church was enlarged later by the construction of side chapels. The remains of the priory are reduced to a few walls. The incumbent of this priory was appointed by the abbot of Aurillac. The church has a single nave of three bays vaulted in barrel vault with a pointed arch, and comprises a choir vaulted with ribs. By means of a door with an ogee arch, the choir communicates with a sacristy adjoining the building. The transverse arches separating the bays rest on capitals surmounting engaged pillars, decorated with foliage and masks. The central bay opens to the north onto a chapel vaulted with ribs indicating the 15th century, and to the south onto a chapel vaulted with groin vaults.
