Abbaye cistercienne fondée par les Comtes d'Auvergne au 13e siècle (1274). L'église date du 13e siècle et les bâtiments conventuels du 18e siècle. Vendue comme bien national à la Révolution. De l'église, seuls subsistent le choeur et le transept, en mauvais état (la nef a disparu au début du 20e siècle). Les bâtiments conventuels conservent des salles aux voûtes d'arêtes et une salle avec des décors de stuc.

History
Cistercian abbey founded by the Counts of Auvergne in the 13th century (1274). The church dates from the 13th century and the conventual buildings from the 18th century. Sold as national property at the Revolution. Of the church, only the choir and transept remain, in poor condition (the nave disappeared in the early 20th century). The conventual buildings preserve rooms with groin vaults and a room with stucco decoration.
