Historique
L'ancienne église du couvent des Minimes, construite au 17e siècle dans le style classique caractéristique de l'architecture des ordres religieux de cette époque, devint, après la Révolution, église paroissiale. Jugée trop petite, elle fut agrandie au 19e siècle par des adjonctions dues à l'architecte Teillard, conçues dans l'esprit 17e. £L'édifice se compose d'une nef à quatre travées et chapelles latérales ; d'un transept saillant épaulant la tour-lanterne à dôme élevée au-dessus de la croisée ; d'une abside semi-circulaire. History
The former church of the Minimes convent, built in the 17th century in the classical style characteristic of the architecture of religious orders of this period, became, after the Revolution, a parish church. Judged too small, it was enlarged in the 19th century by additions due to the architect Teillard, conceived in the spirit of the 17th century. The building is composed of a nave with four bays and lateral chapels; of a projecting transept supporting the lantern tower with dome raised above the crossing; of a semi-circular apse. The flat chevet integrates, to the north, a secondary porch integrated into a straight elevation on the street and, to the south, the sacristy. Inside, the composite capitals were carved by Gourgouillon. The apse is decorated with the retable from the church of the Cordeliers.
