Historique
Fontaine Renaissance dite de Saint-Martin. Ouvrage à bassin octogonal possédant en son centre un fût circulaire qui supporte d'abord une vasque ronde sculptée en coquille et ornée de quatre mascarons sur cartouches. Au-dessus de cette vasque, le fût supporte un réservoir de forme ovale dont la moitié inférieure est sculptée en forme de petites écailles rondes et ornée de quatre masques joufflus. La moitié supérieure porte un blason armorié sur lequel figure un lion. L'ensemble est surmonté d'une statue d'évêque mitré dans une attitude bénissante. L'eau s'écoulant du réservoir par la bouche des masques qui l'ornent est recueillie dans la vasque d'où elle retombe par la bouche des mascarons taillés aux flancs de celle-ci.

History
Renaissance fountain called the fountain of Saint-Martin. A work with an octagonal basin possessing in its centre a circular shaft which first supports a round basin carved as a shell and decorated with four mascarons on cartouches. Above this basin, the shaft supports an oval-shaped reservoir whose lower half is carved in the form of small round scales and decorated with four chubby masks. The upper half bears a coat of arms on which appears a lion. The whole is surmounted by a statue of a mitred bishop in a blessing attitude. Water flowing from the reservoir through the mouth of the masks which ornament it is collected in the basin from which it falls again through the mouth of the mascarons carved at the sides of the latter.
