Autrefois église paroissiale, cet édifice de style roman auvergnat retient l'attention par les qualités architecturales intérieures de l'abside et des chapelles en cul-de-four. History
Formerly a parish church, this building of Auvergnat Romanesque style attracts attention through the interior architectural qualities of the apse and the chapels in cul-de-four. The choir of the building is decorated with columns, many of whose capitals are still intact. The vaults and the dome of the transept are in perfect condition. The Romanesque building was greatly modified in the 18th century, after its deconsecration. The church served the prior of the place, dependent on the priory of the Benedictines of Sauxillanges; converted into a barn in 1793. Latin cross plan, comprising a principal nave of three bays flanked by aisles. A fairly projecting transept follows, formed by a crossing marked by two transepts each of which is fitted with an oriented round chapel. Presence of a crypt.
