Villa construite de 1924 à 1925 par les architectes Le Corbusier et Pierre Jeanneret, son cousin et associé, pour Raoul La Roche, banquier bâlois et collectionneur d'art moderne. Située au fond de l'impasse dite square du Docteur-Blanche et contiguë à la villa d'Albert Jeanneret au numéro 8 (voir notice PA00086693 , elle fait partie d'un ensemble projeté de quatre villas, insérées dans un projet de lotissement non réalisé sur toute l'impasse. La maison du banquier comprend une galerie de tableaux, sur pilotis, comportant deux niveaux desservis par une rampe courbe. La villa appartient depuis 1968 à la Fondation Le Corbusier. Les volumes et les espaces conçus par l'architecte sont conservés et ouverts à la visite.

History
Villa built from 1924 to 1925 by architects Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret, his cousin and associate, for Raoul La Roche, Basel banker and modern art collector. Situated at the end of the passage known as square du Docteur-Blanche and adjoining the villa of Albert Jeanneret at number 8 (see notice PA00086693), it is part of a planned ensemble of four villas, inserted in an unfinished development scheme covering the entire passage. The banker's house comprises a picture gallery, on pilotis, comprising two levels served by a curved ramp. The villa has belonged since 1968 to the Le Corbusier Foundation. The volumes and spaces designed by the architect are preserved and open to visitors.
