Historique
Située dans le quartier ancien de Ciboure, cette maison du 17e siècle a servi d'hôpital aux troupes de Wellington en 1813 et 1814. Le rez-de-chaussée fut ensuite utilisé comme chai à poissons puis, après la dernière guerre, comme manufacture de filets. L'édifice comporte trois étages. La façade nord est à pignon et a conservé son caractère qui l'apparente aux maisons labourdines. Cette façade est composée, à partir du premier étage, de pans de bois hourdés formant un léger encorbellement à chacun des niveaux. La porte primitive, à encadrement de pierres, s'ouvre sous un arc plein cintre.

History
Situated in the old quarter of Ciboure, this 17th-century house served as a hospital for Wellington's troops in 1813 and 1814. The ground floor was subsequently used as a fish store and then, after the last war, as a net factory. The building comprises three storeys. The north façade has a gable and has retained its character which relates it to Labourdine houses. This façade is composed, from the first storey upwards, of timber framing filled with render forming a slight corbelling at each level. The primitive door, with stone surround, opens beneath a round arch.
