Villa built from 1924 to 1926 for major Edmund Gould by architect Joseph Hiriart and his associates Georges Tribout and Georges Beau. Neo-Basque in its forms, the villa is richly decorated in Art Deco taste; the immense stained glass at the centre of the entrance façade, representing a flight of birds at sunrise, is due to Jacques Gruber.
