Historique
Cette église desservait un prieuré dépendant de l'abbaye de la Sauve. Primitivement couverte en charpente, elle fut voûtée au 13e siècle. L'abside polygonale est voûtée en cul de four. L'arc triomphal en plein cintre a été doublé d'un arc brisé. Sur le bras nord du transept s'élève le clocher sur plan carré, surélevé au 15e siècle. Il renferme une voûte d'ogives retombant sur un faisceau de trois colonnes s'appuyant elles-mêmes sur une trombe. Le dessus des voûtes est garni de créneaux. Des échauguettes sont posées sur les contreforts d'angle.

History
This church served a priory dependent on the abbey of la Sauve. Originally covered with a roof structure, it was vaulted in the 13th century. The polygonal apse is vaulted with a semi-dome. The triumphal arch in the round arch was doubled with a pointed arch. On the north arm of the transept rises the bell tower on a square plan, heightened in the 15th century. It contains a rib vault resting on a cluster of three columns which themselves rest on a squinch. The tops of the vaults are furnished with crenellations. Small turrets are placed on the corner buttresses.
