History
Cathedral of Périgueux until 1669, the church is partially destroyed in 1577 during the Wars of Religion. The eastern bay is then restored. In 1907, a major restoration campaign, conducted by the architect Henri Rapine, modifies the building by substituting a stone roof for the tile roof of the western bay.
