In 1957 the Arizona Development Board wrote the text for 100 historical markers for the state's highways, had one cast in each of Arizona's fourteen counties, and offered the rest to any fraternal order or civic club that would sponsor the casting. 98 of them now have permanent pages at TreeAlive, each carrying its full 1958 legend on georeferenced maps from the period it commemorates, and each saying plainly what the record shows about whether it was ever cast.
