Sac and Fox Agency School

Lincoln County · approximately four and one-half miles south of Stroud on OK-99/US-377

Sac and Fox Indians were removed to Indian Territory from Kansas in the 1870s. A brick building for the Sac and Fox Agency School was constructed and opened in 1872. The Moses Keokuk House stood two miles west of this marker’s location.
