Overholser Mansion

Henry Overholser arrived in Oklahoma City in 1889 and soon became a prominent civic leader. He worked tirelessly to bring several railroads to Oklahoma City and operated the Overholser Opera House for many years. The mansion for Henry and his wife, Anna, was completed in 1903. It became a showplace and the center of the city’s social and cultural life.
