Diego Sepulveda Adobe

This adobe house was built as a station of Mission San Juan Capistrano. After secularization this property became part of Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana. The adobe was used as headquarters of Diego Sepulveda, later owner of the rancho.

1971 register text, presented as a historical document. It uses the period's terms for Native people; the state's landmark listings still carry most of this wording, and the California Office of Historic Preservation maintains the program's current texts.
