Cadw's description

Situated on the E side of the A487 immediately N of Chancery, to the S of Brynglas Farm.

Mid to later C19 detached house, not marked on 1845 Tithe map.

House of late Georgian character, 2 storeys, 3-window symmetrical façade in uncoursed slate rubble with quoins to angles. Slate gable-ended roof with stone end. stacks. 12-pane hornless timber sashes with stone sills and voussoirs and plain reveals, and centre C20 door with plain rendered overlintel beneath similar stone voussoirs. Cambered heads to all openings. Plain timber bargeboards to gables. Right end wall unpainted roughcast. End stacks have narrow projected copings.

Not inspected at survey.

Included as a good example of a C19 house still in Georgian tradition.
