History
Contemporary with City hall and intended as lamp stands.
Exterior
Portland stone. Two obelisks on pedestals. At base of obelisks, ironwork with Cardiff arms to front, and to sides, ships' prows with griffin and wyvern figureheads whose heads bear lamp stands.
Reason for designation
Elaborate lampstands. Group value with City Hall.
