Cadw's description

To left (SW) of main entrance to City Hall.

Early C20, contemporary with City Hall. Intended as lamp stands.

Portland stone. Two obelisks on pedestals. At base of obelisks, ironwork with Cardiff arms to front, and to sides, ships' prows with griffin and wyvern figureheads whose heads bear lamp stands.

Elaborate lamp stands. Group value with City Hall.
