Location
Situated on W side of B4413 in Rhoshirwaun village, some 100 m S of Capel Saron.
History
Later C19 slate milestone of the type found quite widely in the region, indicating perhaps a later phase of the turnpike system then the rough boulder stones of the Uwchmynydd-Rhiw road. There is another similar outside Cartref, Aberdaron (q.v.) and the next to NE near Tocia was not found.
Exterior
Milestone, cut slate slab with top corners cut off and inscriped 'Miles, Pwllheli 15, Nevin 11 3/4, Aberdaron 2.
Reason for designation
Included as one of the group of similar milestones on the main roads of the Llyn.
