Cadw's description

Located below the main Brecon to Builth road, to the W of Llangoed Hall, with its farm buildings to the N and E.

Exterior: Farmhouse of the mid C19 built as the home farm to Llangoed Hall. Red brick with stone quoins. Slate roof. Two storeys and attics, double-pile plan with stacks. The main W elevation is symmetrical with a central boarded door and 4-pane overlight. Sixteen-pane sashes, but a narrow 8-pane light over the door, the southern window to the ground floor replaced. Stone stacks, quoined where projecting on gable ends.
Included as a well preserved example of an estate farmhouse of the mid C19.
