Location
On S corner of East Street and South Street.
History
C17 origins, remodelled in C19.
Exterior
Timber framed with weatherboarding; some painted and applied half timbering over the boarding. Old slate roof with pegged slates laid to diminishing courses.
One storey plus attic. Gable end facing E street has square upper window (Yorkshire sash); on ground floor. Later C19 shopfront, end pilasters, bracketed cornice, central double-leaf glazed doors, window to each side
Elevation to South Street has gabled dormer towards S. On ground floor, two C19 shop windows with end pilasters and cornice.
Reason for designation
One of oldest buildings in town on key site.
