At W end of Ffynone Road almost opposite nursing home.
History
House, circa 1860.
Exterior
Stucco, modern slate-type roof, end chimneys in brick. Two storeys plus attic. Three window front, band course at sill level of first floor windows; to L, windows slightly advanced, 16-pane hornless sashes; central narrow window to each floor (small pane glazing); to R, later 2-storey splayed bay, small pane hornless sash glazing. To R, 2-storey link to adjacent house (pitched roof) two windows to upper level, panelled entrance door; L gable part slate-hung, small window to attic. To L of house, flat-roofed extension, panelled door in moulded surround.
Reason for designation
One of a planned group of unusual small stucco villas, amongst earliest developments in Ffynone.
