History
Telephone call-box to standard K6 design made for GPO in 1936 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott. This one made before 1952.
Exterior
Red painted cast-iron kiosk, square-plan with horizontal glazing bars and marginal bars to two sides, similar iron glazing within wooden-frame door on third and blank rear with makers plaque ''Lion Foundry Co. Ltd Kirkintilloch''. Red-lettered translucent panels above under Soaneian shallow square domed roof with George VI crown in each lunette.

Listed for its contribution to an unusually large village retainining its regional character.
