Kasteel Tongelaer. Overblijfsel van het kasteel zijn een omgracht terrein, en een poorttoren waarvan de poort aan een kant dichtgezet. Onder het met pannen belegd schilddak een lijst met elkaar doorsnijdende boogjes. Tongewelf over de benedenruimte, graatgewelf over het vertrek in de verdieping, waarin een oude schouw. 15e eeuws; in het zijpoortje een steen met het jaartal 1856. Aansluitend bij de toren, op het kasteel-terrein een 19e eeuwse boerderij met woonhuis.

Description
Castle Tongelaer. Remnants of the castle are a moated terrain and a gate tower of which the gate is bricked up on one side. Under the tile-covered hipped roof a moulding with intersecting arches. Tunnel vault over the ground floor room, groin vault over the room on the first storey, in which an old fireplace. 15th century; in the side doorway a stone with the date 1856. Adjoining the tower, on the castle terrain a 19th-century farmhouse with dwelling house.
