Omschrijving
In 1868 gebouwde toren der 16e eeuwse Hervormde Kerk. Eenvoudige, uit grauwe baksteen opgetrokken toren in neo-romaanse vormen, bekroond door leien gedekte ingesnoerde naaldspits met koperen haan; halfrondgesloten deur- en vensteropeningen; spaarvelden met rondboogfriezen waarin uurwerk en galmgaten; goot op klossen. Klokkenstoel met gelui van twee klokken, waarvan één van G.van Wou, 1499, diam. 104,2 cm. en een moderne klok. Mechanisch torenuurwerk H.Bloksma, 1878, later voorzien van electrische opwinding.

Description
Tower of the 16th century Reformed Church built in 1868. Simple tower constructed of grey brickwork in neo-Romanesque forms, crowned by slate-covered cinched spire with copper weathervane; half-round arched door and window openings; sparing fields with round-arch friezes containing clock mechanism and sound openings; gutter on consoles. Bell chamber with ring of two bells, one by G. van Wou, 1499, diam. 104.2 cm. and a modern bell. Mechanical tower clock H. Bloksma, 1878, later fitted with electric winding.
