Description

Well-preserved early 19th-century farmhouse complex (monogram-anchor WS and anchor dating 1806), consisting of a double dwelling under a thatch-covered half-hipped roof and at right angles thereto a standing outbuilding section under a half-hipped thatch-covered roof curved at the rear with owl hole. Separation between the two residential sections, of which only no. 7 has scorings along the gable top, visible through the use of a different type of brick, panelled doors with fanlight; 15-pane sash windows above which 1.5-brick stretches; four-pane windows; rod anchors; two cellar windows with bars; plastered plinth and two corner chimneys. Outbuilding section with part doors and stable door with four-pane fanlight in the central aisle and dung doors and stable window in the side aisles. At right angles thereto an attached large barn, on a brick foundation, of potash-fired parts under a thatch-covered half-hipped roof with owl hole at the rear. On the rear yard paved with glacial boulders a freestanding wooden barn on a brick foundation under a tile-covered gabled roof. To the left of no. 6 an originally brick bakehouse and a "cottage" under tile-covered gabled roofs.
