Omschrijving
Buitensocieteit, thans gemeentemuseum. Gebouwd ca. 1870 naar ontwerp C. Outshoorn. Middenpaviljoen met koepel, geflankeerd door lagere, terugbuigende zijvleugels. Gepleisterde gevels met kroonlijsten. Tegen de achtergevels van de zijvleugels ingemetseld: deurpartijen van huis Bakkerstraat 56 (Louis XIV) en van het huis Walburgisplein 10 (Lod. XV). In de koepelzaal orgel met Hoofdwerk en Bovenwerk, gemaakt in het laatste kwart van de achttiende eeuw. In 1968 gerestaureerd door de firma Leeflang. In de Rijnzaal balkenzoldering met olieverfbeschildering van Bijbelse en mythologische taferelen in medaillons, omgeven door bladmotieven (ca. 1650) afkomstig uit het afgebroken huis Oeverstraat 53.

Description
Former social club, now municipal museum. Built circa 1870 according to design by C. Outshoorn. Central pavilion with dome, flanked by lower, receding side wings. Plastered facades with cornices. Built into the rear facades of the side wings: door sections from the house Bakkerstraat 56 (Louis XIV) and from the house Walburgisplein 10 (Louis XV). In the domed hall an organ with Great Organ and Upper Organ, made in the last quarter of the eighteenth century. Restored in 1968 by the firm Leeflang. In the Rhine Hall a beamed ceiling with oil-painted biblical and mythological scenes in medallions, surrounded by leaf motifs (circa 1650) originating from the demolished house Oeverstraat 53.
