Omschrijving
Nederlands hervormde kerk. In sobere baksteenvormen in 1663-'65 waarschijnlijk door Daniel Stalpaert gebouwde kerk, waarvan de plattegrond een Grieks kruis beslaat, met in de hoeken lagere, vierkante vakken. De hoofdbeuken zijn met houten tongewelven overdekt; over de lagere zijruimten graatgewelven. Aan de voorzijde een portaaluitbouw met pilasters en een fronton. Achthoekig houten klokkentorentje met hoge spits. Gerestaureerd 1955-'57. Tot de inventaris behoren o.a.: een serie gebrandschilderde glazen 1666-'71, gerestaureerd in 1908; vierkante preekstoel uit de bouwtijd met doophek uit 1910. Orgel in rijk gesneden kas met Hoofdwerk en Bovenwerk, in 1782 gemaakt door H.H. Hess. In 1977 gerestaureerd door Flentrop Orgelbouw en uitgebreid met een vrij Pedaal dat buiten de bescherming valt. Grisaille-beschildering op de tongewelven. Epitaaf, 18e eeuw, voor Nicolaa Van Oudshoorn-Hooft; twee rouwborden, 1793 en 1817; een aantal zerken, 17e en 18e eeuw. Twee zilveren, gegraveerde bekers en een kan, 1683. Klokkenstoel met klok van Petit en Fritsen, 1835, diameter 89,8 centimeter.

Description
Dutch Reformed Church. A church built in austere brick forms in 1663–65, probably by Daniel Stalpaert, whose ground plan encompasses a Greek cross, with lower square compartments in the corners. The main aisles are covered with wooden barrel vaults; coffered vaults over the lower side spaces. On the front side a portico projection with pilasters and a pediment. Octagonal wooden bell tower with tall spire. Restored 1955–57. The inventory includes among other things: a series of stained glass windows 1666–71, restored in 1908; square pulpit from the period of construction with baptismal gate from 1910. Organ in richly carved case with Great Work and Upper Work, made in 1782 by H.H. Hess. Restored in 1977 by Flentrop Orgelbouw and enlarged with a free Pedal which falls outside the protection. Grisaille painting on the barrel vaults. Epitaph, 18th century, for Nicolaa Van Oudshoorn-Hooft; two mourning boards, 1793 and 1817; a number of gravestones, 17th and 18th century. Two silver, engraved beakers and a jug, 1683. Bell frame with bell by Petit and Fritsen, 1835, diameter 89.8 centimetre.
