Omschrijving
In 1913 door M.de Klerk gebouwde huizenblok van gesloten,burchtachtig karakter en vrij rustige architectuur. De symmetrische ingedeelde gevel aan het Spaarndammerplantsoen is geleed door vier tot boven toe doorlopende ingangsrisalieten (nrs 14/16, 22/24, 26/28, 34/36), met parabolische afsluiting en wordt in het midden geaccentueerd door een houten bekleding tegen de bovenste verdieping; de drie buitengevels van het huizenblok zijn wat de bovenste zone betreft bekleed met terracotta tegels. De kleine vensterpartijen hebben oorspronkelijk een kleine roedenverdeling die echter voor een groot deel is verwijderd.

Description
Block of houses built in 1913 by M. de Klerk of closed, castle-like character and fairly restrained architecture. The symmetrically arranged facade at the Spaarndammerplantsoen is articulated by four entrance risalits running to the top (nos. 14/16, 22/24, 26/28, 34/36), with parabolic termination and is accentuated in the middle by wooden cladding against the upper storey; the three external facades of the house block are clad in their upper zone with terracotta tiles. The small window arrangements originally have fine glazing bars, however a large part of these have been removed.
