Omschrijving
In 1914 door M.de Klerk gebouwd huizenblok van gesloten, burchtachtige karakter met tamelijk gewogen details. Buitenwanden van rood en geel,hier en daar duidelijk onconstructief toegepast, bakstenen metselwerk en in de drie tot boven toe doorlopende ingangspartijen aan het Spaarndammerplantsoen (nrs 15/17, 21/23, 27/29) en op de ronde uitbouwen (Spaarndammerplantsoen 31 en Zaanstraat 49) met terracotta tegels bekleed. Onconstructieve dakvormen, vooral op de hoek van de Wormerveerstraat. Originele deuren met karakteristieke beplanking.

Description
Block of houses built in 1914 by M. de Klerk of closed, castle-like character with fairly considered details. External walls of red and yellow, in places clearly non-structural masonry and in the three entrance features running to the top at the Spaarndammerplantsoen (nos. 15/17, 21/23, 27/29) and on the round projecting structures (Spaarndammerplantsoen 31 and Zaanstraat 49) clad with terracotta tiles. Non-structural roof forms, especially at the corner of the Wormerveerstraat. Original doors with characteristic infilling panels.
